The Last Two Weeks by the Numbers!
Back-to-School is our busiest, and in many ways, and one of our most rewarding times of year as we get to coordinate so many blessings. But, who’s counting, right? In fact, it’s hard to count.
So, I wanted to share just a brief accounting of what the Lord has provided for and through our ministry in these last two weeks — all a direct result of your prayers, your volunteering, and your giving to Faith Tampa Bay.
From July 27, 2024 to August 12, 2024, we have had:
- Fifteen opportunities to connect and encourage teachers, staff, schools and families. Praise God!
- Nine opportunities to feed an entire school’s staff. PRAISE GOD!
- Ten churches partner with us in connecting, serving and covering either some or all the costs. PRAISE GOD!
- 1,425+ people encouraged. PRAISE GOD!
- So with your donations, our monthly Impact Partners, our Church Partners and Business Partners, all cost for these outreaches were covered, PRAISE GOD
Praise God…
… we prayed with teachers; DJ’d back-to-school bashes; hosted teachers lounge reveals; brought in breakfasts and lunches for teachers and staff; visited classrooms; led a prayer walk at Blake High School (partnering w/ Radiant Church); brought in the our Encouragement Cart for 125 staff at Brandon High. What a whirlwind. Praise God.
So, I finally get a chance to sit and reflect on the beauty of Gospel ministry, that we don’t have to do this, instead, we get to do this. What a privilege to represent you and your churches in our Tampa Bay schools.
Let’s remember to lift up our teachers, our students and parents in prayer!
